Pakistani education activist and Nobel Peace Prize winner Malala Yousafzai has revealed her love for Nigerian delicacy, especially puff puff.

Naija News gathered that Yousafza, who is visiting Nigeria, shared her experience with some local foods she has tasted and loved.

According to her, she sees herself as a global citizen, and everywhere she goes is like home.

The Nobel laureate, while featuring in an interview with Channels TV, recounts how she tasted puff puff before her speech at the United Nations.

She said, “I travelled so much around the world that every place seems like home. For me, I feel like I am a global citizen. We should celebrate each other’s cultures and traditions and enjoy the food. I mean, I love jollof rice, plantain, and the food here

“I also tried puff puff. It was amazing, just before my speech at the UN. I was so hungry, and I had like five minutes. And then, like, I thief one puff puff, and that was amazing. It was the best thing I took before the speech.”

Earlier this week, this platform reported on Wednesday that Nigeria’s Vice President Kashim Shettima, received a delegation from the United Nations led by the Deputy Secretary General and former Minister of Environment, Amina Mohammed, along with Malala Yousafzai, at the Presidential Villa.

Yousafzai had advocated the need to invest more in the education of the girl child during her courtesy visit to the villa.
