Kano PRP Candidate, Salihu Tanko Yakasai Votes

The gubernatorial candidate of the Peoples Redemption Party (PRP) in Kano state, Salihu Tanko Yakasai, cast his vote in Saturday’s election.

He performed his civic responsibility at his polling Unit in Jigirya Ward area of Nasarawa Local Government.

Addressing newsmen after casting his vote, Yakasai said he is optimistic about winning the election and that he is ready to accept the outcome of the election.

He however called on his supporters to be law-abiding and accept the result once the process is free and fair.

NNPP Candidate Votes

Earlier, Naija News reported that the Kano State governorship candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), Abba Kabir Yusuf has cast his vote in the ongoing governorship and state assembly elections.

Yusuf voted at PU 033 Balarabe Haladu School, Chiranchi ward of Gwale LGA, Kano.

Speaking to journalists after voting, the NNPP candidate called for the arrest of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Chairman in Kano State, Abdullahi Abbas, over allegations that the APC chairman brought in thugs to disenfranchise voters.
