10 Months After Wedding, Tim Godfrey Welcomes First Child, Shares First Glimpse

Popular Gospel singer, Tim Godfrey has welcomed his first child, a baby girl with his wife, Erica Jones exactly 10 months after the couple tied the knot.

In February 2022, the singer announced his engagement to Erica and in April 2022, the pair got married in an intimate ceremony.

The singer announced the birth of his baby girl via an Instagram post on Saturday evening.

He shared a picture from their maternity shoot while also appreciating God for his bundle of joy.

“My baby and my baby. Thank you, Jesus,” he captioned the post.

In another post on Sunday morning, the singer shared a photo of the newborn baby holding firm to his finger.

“Our princess reign has arrived! Mommy, Daddy and Baby are doing well. Thank you all for your prayers and words of congratulations” he wrote

“Thank you Jesus for this blessing. Join us in giving praise to God for our beautiful baby girl.”

Godrey is the founder and owner of the record label Rox Nation and also the founder of Xtreme Crew. He is also the convener of the annual Fearless Gospel Concert, which has hosted international gospel artists including Marvin Sapp, Kirk Frankin, and Travis Greene.
