Multi-talented singer, songwriter, model and serial entrepreneur, Annjay Chioma has weighed in on the on-going age fraud trend amongst Nigerian celebrities.

Recall, winner of the Big Brother Naija ‘PepperDem’ Edition, Mercy Eke, recently got exposed for lying about her age after it was discovered that she was 32 and not 29, as she had claimed.

Reacting to that, Annjay Chioma via her Instagram page recounted how she was bullied by a former boss because he knew her ‘real age’

She further added that, she stopped divulging her real age due to that incident which occurred many years ago

“I stopped telling people my real age after I was bullied by my former boss. He called me stupid small rat to make my fellow female colleagues happy. This happened just because of little misunderstanding. I can’t forget that incidence so soon. This happened my years ago oh, but deep down it still hurts,” she wrote.

Mercy Eke Exposed For Lying About Her Age

Meanwhile, Winner of the Big Brother Naija ‘PepperDem’ Edition, Mercy Eke, was exposed for lying about her age.

Naija News reports this is coming barely six months after the reality TV star celebrated her 29th birthday on social media.

Mercy flooded her Instagram page with boss chick photos of herself, rocking a black outfit as she described the birthday as the last chapter of her 20s.

She wrote: “Last of my 20s, Happy birthday to me!!!!!”.

However, Mercy Eke got exposed online after sharing details of her permanent voter’s card on the microblogging platform, Twitter.

Just like many other Nigerians showing their PVCs after collection, Mercy did likewise, but decided to cover her date of birth and occupation leaving her voter’s identification number (VIN).

Some netizens berated her for not covering the VIN as it will give people access to get her full details online.

A Twitter follower used the VIN to check the details of the reality TV star and it shows that Mercy is 32 and not 29 as claimed.
