A video of the presidential candidate of the Labor Party, Peter Obi, in London on Monday (today), January 16, 2023, where he is to speak on his vision for Nigeria if elected next month with his running mate, Dr Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed, has surfaced on social media.

Naija News reports that Obi’s session at Chatham House, a famous independent policy institute trusted for debate and dialogue, is expected to take place at 1:00 p.m. London time.

In a tweet on Sunday afternoon about the event, Obi wrote: “I’ll be speaking at the Chatham House, London tomorrow (today) afternoon (Monday, 16th January), on the vision for policy change and the institutional reforms that Labour Party, Datti, and I have for Nigeria.

“I look forward to an interactive exchange during the Question and Answer session.”

Some of those policies and governance reforms include priorities for tackling deep-rooted insecurity across the country, corruption in different sectors and strategies for improving the ailing economy.

A publication on the Chatham House website announcing the event said: “This event is a member and Africa programme event and is part of a series of events and outputs examining Nigeria’s 2023 elections and political developments.”
