G5: Moment Crowd Started Shouting Atiku During Wike's Speech In Ibadan

The five aggrieved governors of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) identified as G5 have arrived in Ibadan, Oyo State for the flag-off of the campaign of their member, Seyi Makinde.

Naija News gathered that the event is being held at the ancient Mapo hall in Ibadan, the state capital.

Other members of the group at the meeting are Nyesom Wike (Rivers State), Okezie Ikpeazu (Abia State), Samuel Ortom (Benue State) and Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi (Enugu State).

The five aggrieved governors of the PDP arrived at the venue of the campaign flag-off at exactly 1 pm.

The governors who are in the state to campaign for Makinde’s second term in office have concluded not to support the presidential candidate of their party, Atiku Abubakar.

The latest development has it that each governor would be allowed to support another presidential candidate from the opposition apart from Atiku.

The Governors have zeroed in on supporting the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu or the Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate, Peter Obi.

Meanwhile, the roads leading to Mapo hall have been jam-packed with party loyalists from all 33 Local Government Areas.

Security operatives are making serious efforts to control the crowd.
