Workers Trapped As Building Collapses In Abuja

A two-storey building under construction has collapsed in the Kubwa area of the Federal Capital Territory.

The collapse has seen two workers on the construction site trapped.

At the time of filing this report, Naija News gathered that officials of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) are at the scene trying to rescue the trapped workers.

However, the number of injured persons could not be ascertained, but a resident noted that some injured persons have been rescued and taken to the hospital.

Cases of building collapse are rampant in Lagos State which has led to the loss of lives of construction workers of residents of the affected building.
