‘Wike’s Meeting With Tinubu Was Not Held In France But London – Report’

A source has confirmed the meeting between the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu and the Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike.

There had been claims that Governor Wike meet with the former Governor of Lagos State in Paris, France.

The source, however, stated that the meeting was not held in France, but was held in London on Monday night.

According to the source, the Governor of Oyo State, Seyi Makinde and Abia State Governor, Okezie Ikpeazu were in the meeting.

The source while speaking with Vanguard said the meeting was centred around how the Wike camp would stay in PDP to cause a crisis in the party.

He said it was also discussed during the meeting how they would mobilize their supporters to work for APC in 2023.

The source said, “It is true that there was a meeting where Tinubu met with Wike, Makinde and Ikpeazu. The meeting was held on Monday night, it was not in France, it was in London.

The meeting had to do with Wike and his camp staying in PDP, causing a crisis in PDP and asking his supporters to work for APC. Asiwaju is coming back today (yesterday) or tomorrow morning (today).”
