List Of Aggrieved Northern APC Christian Leaders Opposed To Peter Obi's Candidacy

The chieftain of the African Democratic Congress, Anayo Arinze, has advised the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, not to be deceived by the massive support he is enjoying on social media.

Speaking on Sunday at the ADC stakeholders’ meeting in Awka, the Anambra State capital, Arinze said that Obi’s popularity was mainly on social media and not at the grassroots.

The ADC chieftain added that the Labour Party would not win any seat in the 2023 general elections, stressing that it would take a miracle for the party with no structure to win any election across the country.

Arinze noted that the LP had no structure nor politician to push its candidates for the 2023 election, saying that those campaigning for Obi on social media were only doing so to deceive them.

The ADC chieftain reminded the supporters of the former Anambra Governor that the Independent National Electoral Commission had no polling units on social media platforms.

He said, “I don’t think the Labour Party would make any good headway in the election. They are currently the champion on social media. They have no structure at all levels, including Anambra State, where its presidential candidate comes from.

“They have no offices where they do hold meetings except social media platforms, so how do you expect them to have votes on the election?

Arinze stated that the 2023 general election will be keenly contested across the states of the Federation and will be different from past elections.
