Remains of Late Singer Osinachi Laid To Rest Amidst Tears

The remains of late Gospel singer Osinachi Nwachukwu popularly known for the hit song ‘Ekweme’ has been laid to rest.

Late Osinachi was buried in her hometown, Isochi Umunneochi in Abia State, Naija News reports.

Osinachi died on April 8, 2022, and was said to have suffered domestic violence prior to her death.

Until her death, Osinachi was a chorister at the headquarters of the Dunamis International Gospel Center in Abuja.

Naija News recalls Osinachi Nwachukwu’s mother, Caroline Madu (61) and sister, Favor asked the High Court sitting in Abuja to serve justice against Peter Nwachukwu following the death of the singer.

Madu was announced as the prosecution’s first witness on Monday 22nd 2022 in the alleged homicide and domestic violence-related case.

According to Caroline, she came to explain what Peter did to her daughter, Osinachi, adding that the last time she saw her daughter was about a year ago.

She maintained that Peter came and stole her daughter, claiming “he was an evangelist.”
