Reno Omokri Speaks On ‘Big Deal’ Hours After Jonathan Reportedly Joins APC

A former aide to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokri has urged people to keep big deals to themselves hours after his former principal Goodluck Jonathan reportedly defected from the Peoples Democratic Party to the ruling All Progressives Congress

Naija News had earlier reported that sources claimed that the former president registered his membership with the ruling party at his Otuoke Ward in Bayelsa State.

There are indications that Jonathan would submit his APC expression of interest and nomination on Thursday ahead of the deadline set for submission of forms.

The source further stated that the former president has also secured the support of the required number of APC delegates in the respective states.

The development has stirred reaction online with some wondering why he rejected the forms purchased for him few hours ago, only to join APC and accept the same form hours after the rejection.

Although, the former aide to Goodluck Jonathan is yet to say anything about the development, he rather took to the microblogging platform, Twitter, to nudge his followers about negative human spirit and how real it is.

He added that people should learn to keep the big deal to themselves until it materialises.

He wrote; ”Nobody needs to know you are about to hit a major deal. Remember the last time you told everyone about that sure thing deal? Did it not backfire? Negative human spirit is real. Keep that big deal to yourself until it materialises, if you want it to be a big deal!”
