The Nigeria Custom Service has reacted to the viral video of one of its officer slapping an aide to the governor of Delta State, Ifeanyi Okowa, Samson Nwachukwu.

According to reports, the incident was said to have happened along the Agbor/Asaba Expressway on Saturday.

Reacting to the video, his colleague, Success Ossai via his Facebook page called on the Customs Service to identify the officer and take necessary action.

He said, “Help identify this officer so he can be arrested. This Nigeria Custom officer action is barbaric and needs to be dealt with by the authority. No one deserved to be treated this way.”

The NCS also vowed to sanction the unruly officer, adding that he has been withdrawn from patrol duties and is currently under administrative investigations at the NCS zonal Headquarters in Port Harcourt.
