Another Nollywood Actor Declares For Presidency, Highlight Key focus Of Campaign

Controversial Nollywood actor and producer, Uche Madwagwu has announced his intentions to run for the 2023 presidency.

Madwagwu who is known for his unpopular opinions took to his Instagram account to announce his presidential aspirations.

He stated that his number one project if given a chance to rule would be electricity, while also condemning the government’s decision to hike electricity tariff despite the poor power supply plaguing the country.

Maduagwu wrote: “Dear Nigerians, it is with great joy that I humbly accept to serve my country as the next President if elected. Electricity will be my number one project, without 24 hours electricity, how do you lift Naija out of poverty? They keep making empty promises each election year with no result, right now this government plans to increase electricity tariffs with zero electricity supply, no be wickedness be that?”

Recall that Nollywood actor Yul Edochie had also announced his interest in the 2023 presidency.

Meanwhile, Peter Okoye better known as Mr. P has hinted that one of the numerous candidates declaring their intentions to run for the 2023 general elections is the most qualified.

Naija News reports that the singer and father of two took to his Instagram page on Saturday to make that assertion.

According to Peter, only one candidate amongst all other aspirant who have made known their intentions to run for the presidential seat in 2023 is over qualified.

He wrote; ‘So far, only one candidate is overqualified to be Nigeria Next President’
