Ukraine Vs Russia: Billionaire Businessman, Jeff Bezos Intervenes

Billionaire businessman Elon Musk has on Saturday sent Starlink systems to Ukraine.

Volodymyr Zelensky, Ukrainian president confirmed the move by the billionaire via Twitter.

He wrote: “Talked to @elonmusk. I’m grateful to him for supporting Ukraine with words and deeds.”

Musk also told Zelensky that the country would receive another batch  “of Starlink systems for destroyed cities” next week.

In a video posted on Instagram, Zelensky invited Musk to visit Ukraine after the war has ended.

The Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine, had earlier requested the Starlink after the Russian invasion disrupted internet access for some Ukrainians.

In other news, the Ukrainian government, in its conscription laws preventing men from leaving the country in the midst of the Russian invasion, has also denied transgender women exit out of the country noting that they are still technically men, Naija News reports

One of the trans women, Zi Faámelu, who was asked to take arms and fight, expressed her displeasure over the development, while revealing that she is planning to escape to Poland illegally as other trans women have done, according to a report by Los Angeles Times. Read more
