Ukraine: Heartbreaking Video Of Father Saying Goodbye While Sending His Family To Safe Zone

A heartbreaking video of a father suspected to be saying goodbye to his young daughter and wife while sending them away to a safe zone has surfaced on social media.

Naija News earlier reported that Putin launched a major military invasion into Ukraine from several directions on Thursday, with explosions heard in the country’s capital, Kyiv.

This led the Ukraine military on Thursday morning to shoot down five Russian fighter jets.

Naija News reports that the military also stated that a helicopter belonging to Russia was shut down too.

According to the Defence spokesperson of Ukraine, hundreds of Russian troops are likely to have been killed in the incident.

Volodymyr Zelensky, Ukrainian President, on Thursday says he would provide weapons to any citizen who wants to defend the country against Russian attacks.

“We will give weapons to anyone who wants to defend the country. Be ready to support Ukraine in the squares of our cities”, Zelensky tweeted.

Ukraine men who are volunteering to stand with the army in the ongoing war, are sending their families to safer zones.

In the viral video, a Ukrainian man could be seen in tears while sending off his family (daughter and wife) to a safer zone.

The video shared by independent media, New News EU however didn’t state the exact location.
