Man Divorces Wife 0f 20 Years On Suspicion Of Being Raped By Kidnappers

A man from Zaria has reportedly divorced his wife of 20 years on suspicion that she was defiled after she was freed by kidnappers following her abduction.

The former senator of Kaduna Central, Shehu Sani, disclosed this on Twitter on Thursday and called on religious leaders to intervene in the matter.

He wrote: “A man from Zaria (name withheld) divorced his wife of twenty years after she was released by Bandits who kidnapped her along with others, on the ground that he suspected she was raped by the bandits. I call on religious leaders who are aware of this to please intervene.”

Meanwhile, Nigeria’s First lady, Aisha Buhari has caused a stir after photos of her return from Kaduna to Abuja by train surfaced on the internet.

Naija News understands that Mrs Buhari had visited Kano to console the family of the late Hanifa Abubaka.
