Man Who Quit His N1m Job To Move To United Kingdom Reveals He Regrets His Decision

A young man who quit his job of Ghc16,000 (₦1,076,255) and moved to the United Kingdom has shared why he regrets his decision.

The man identified as Collins Owusu Sarfo revealed in an interview with STV News that while he was in Ghana he worked in a company that paid him Ghc16,000 (₦1,076,255) to GhC20,000 (₦1,345,319) per month.

He stated that his perception of the UK was different from what he experienced. He stated that his plan was to save £2,000 (₦1,110,452)  so he could move back to Ghana but he has been unsuccessful despite being very hardworking.

He also revealed that his first job when he got to the UK was car washing before he became a dishwasher. He said that he has been able to establish an oil and gas company, healthcare, and clothing line after his Ghanian girlfriend broke up with him.

In other news,  award-winning Brazilian singer, Marília Mendonça, on Friday, died in a plane crash moments after sharing a video from the flight.

It was disclosed that the Grammy winner was en route to a concert at the time of the crash, which led to the death of four other people.

The plane crash saw Marília’s music producer, Henrique Ribeiro; her uncle and adviser, Abicieli Silveira Dias Filho; the plane’s pilot and co-pilot killed,

As at the time of filing this report, the cause of the crash is still under investigation, but in a statement on Friday, the Minas Gerais Electric Company (CEMIG) said Mendonça’s plane hit a cable on an electric tower belonging to the power firm.

The police in Minas Gerais while speaking on the saddened incident noted that the plane crashed in the area of Caratinga, in Rio de Janeiro’s north. Read More
