Breaking: Borno Gov. Reveals Those Behind Attack On His Convoy

Borno Governor, Babagana Zulum has revealed those behind the attack on his convoy to be military saboteurs.

Recall Naija News had reported that Governor’s convoy was attacked by gunmen who were suspected to be Boko Haram terrorists during a tour of displaced communities along Monguno and Baga axis in the Lake Chad region.

In a video which has now gone viral, Zulum pointed accusing finger at the Army, saying that their plans were to hinder his visit with the attack.

Zulum noted that he was convinced that it was personal of the Nigerian Army that opened fire on the Police Special Anti- Robbery Squad (FSARS) leading his convoy into Baga town.

While speaking  with reporters in Monguno today, Zulum said: “As far as I am concerned what happened in Baga was a complete sabotage by the military. There is no Boko Haram in Baga.

Naija News learnt that Zulum was whisked away during the attack from his official car by the FSARS into the FSARS armoured personnel carrier vehicles during the attack.
