RCCG: Adeboye’s Senior Pastor Resigns, Gives Reason

Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), has lost the services of Pastor Tola Odutola, a top pastor at the United States branch of the church.

Pastor Odutola resigned from the RCCG, citing a lack of care from the church in his 30 years of service.

In a viral video on social media, the RCCG pastor said he has served the church for 30 years with receiving anything in return.

The pastor, who heads the Jesus House Baltimore RCCG branch, revealed that his church would run independently, attracting applause from the congregation, before adding he was prepared to face backlash on social media for his decision.

Pastor Tola Odutola was the founding Chairman of the Redeemer’s Leadership Institute (RLI) according to the website of

RLI is the Leadership arm of the Redeemed Christian Church of God North America (RCCGNA) which provides continuous training for Religious Leaders worldwide.
