NPower Issues Fresh Warning To Applicants

The administrators of the federal government social intervention scheme, NPower, has again warned Nigerians against the kinds of details they give out to cyber-cafe operators.

The administrators who have been releasing guidelines and instructions that should be adhered to by prospective beneficiaries again cautioned that confidential details should not be given to cafe operators.

It also advised applicants to ensure that details entered in the portal are their correct details and not personal details of the cyber-cafe operators, adding that every information must be cross-checked before submission to avoid the chances of missing out on the scheme.

The tweet reads; “Dear Applicants, Please do NOT give cyber-cafe managers your confidential information. Input them yourselves. Ensure they also do not input their own personal details for you. 

“Crosscheck everything before you apply.”

Meanwhile, the Muhammadu Buhari–led government has dismissed rumours that the NPower portal had been hacked and applicants’ details were compromised.
