There are claims that Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, the Lagos State Government who motorcycle and Tricycles, popularly known as Okada and Keke Maruwa has introduced a new means of transportation.

Recall Sanwo-Olu had restricted Okada and Tricycles over increased crime rate and a major cause of gridlock.

A new photo circulating on the internet shows different colours of mini vehicles roaming the street of Lagos and Lagosians are wondering if it is a replacement for the tricycle.

Naija News, however, reached out to the Chief Press Secretary to the state government, Gboyega Akosile to clarify if these mini vehicles were introduced by the state government.

Mr Akosile made it clear that the vehicles were not introduced by the government, he, however, pointed that the goverment was working round the clock to ease the pain of Lagosians, he also stated that the government would soon introduce new buses that would ease the pain of Lagosians in affected areas.

Recall that Following cries by Lagos State residents over the difficulty experienced in their daily transportations after Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu ban on Okada riders in the state, the governor in a bid to ease the transportation has kickstarted a fresh programme called the Lagos State Ferry operation (LAGFERRY).
