1. 2023: Prophet Releases Shocking Revelations About Buhari’s 3rd Term Agenda, Igbo Presidency

The presiding pastor of Christ Foundation Miracle International Chapel, Lagos State, Prophet Josiah Chukwuma has made some startling revelations about the 2023 presidency in Nigeria.

The clergy in his prophecy warned that any attempt by President Muhammadu Buhari to seek a third term in office by 2023 will have bloody consequences.

2. ASUU Set To Resume Strike Action, Give Ultimatum

The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), has threatened to embark on a nationwide strike action over the government’s stand on the Integrated Payroll and Personnel Information System (IPPIS).

The strike notice was issued by the ASUU national president, Prof. Biodun Ogunyemi, on Wednesday after a National Executive Council (NEC) meeting, held at the Federal University of Technology, Minna.

4. NLC Reveals What Would Be Done To States Who Fail To Implement N30,000 Minimum Wage By Dec. 31st

The Nigeria Labour Congress has threatened that consequences exists for states if they fail to implement the new minimum wage before the December 31st ultimatum issued to them.

Through its chairman, Ayuba Wabba, the union gave the ultimatum to states that hadn’t implemented the new wage scheme following a one-day meeting in Abuja on Wednesday, December 11th.

5. CJN Tanko Muhammad Advocates Adjustment Of Constitution To Accommodate Sharia

The Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN), Justice Ibrahim Tanko Muhammad, has called for the amendment of Nigeria’s constitution to give further room for Muslim concerns and the Shari’a law.

Muhammad spoke while declaring the 20th Annual Judges Conference open at the Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria on Wednesday.

6. Human Rights Abuse: We Are Not Answerable To US, UK Govts – Presidency

The presidency of Nigeria has told the UK and US governments to focus on issues of their own rather than poke noses in issues about Nigeria.

This position was revealed by Mr. Femi Adesina, media aide to President Muhammadu Buhari while answering a question on the federal government’s position to the perception of the international community on cases of human rights abuse leveled against the current administration.

7. Biafra: Nnamdi Kanu Tables Fresh Request Before Buhari Govt

The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, has called on the Nigerian Government led by President Muhammadu Buhari to release Omoyele Sowore, the convener of #RevolutionNow Movement immediately and to cease its “persecution of journalists who report the truth.”

Naija News reports that Kanu made this statement in a series of tweets, days after he held a live broadcast on Radio Biafra where he spoke on the maltreatment of Sowore by officials of the DSS and the abuse of human rights in Nigeria.

Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State has forwarded the list of his commissioner nominees to the state House of Assembly for consideration and approval.
