Buhari Meets CAN Executives

The leadership of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) on Friday, met with President Muhammadu Buhari behind closed doors.

The meeting, which held at the Council Chamber of the State House, Abuja, started around 11 am, Naija News understands.

Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha and the Minister of Interior, Abdulrahman Danbazzau are also attending the meeting between the President and the executives of the Christian body.

The group which is expected to discuss issues of national importance with the President, is also expected to use the opportunity to congratulate the President for his reelection.

As at the time of filing this report, the meeting was still in progress.
