Woman Files Paternity Suit Against Samuel Eto’o

A woman identified as Adileusa do Rosario Neves has filed a paternity suit against Samuel Eto’o over alleged love child.

According to Mail Online, the 39-year-old woman wants the retired player to identify with her 19-year-old daughter, Erika, who she claims was a product of a love affair.

Neves’ lawyer, Fernando Osuna, while addressing Mail Online stated that the hearing will happen on the 24th of April at a Madrid court.

The documents in court are stating that Neves says she got pregnant after meeting Eto’o in a nightclub in Madrid when he was at Leganes in 1997.

She also claimed that Eto told her that he would take responsibility after she told him that she is pregnant for the Cameroon international.

However, Neves revealed that the former Barcelona player allegedly cut off contacts with her, which is why she is now dragging him to court.

Osuna stated that Samuel Eto’o has already been summoned to the hearing which will be open to the media and public.

Naija News reports that Eto’o is one of Africa’s most decorated players and a prolific striker during his playing days.
