SDP’s Donald Duke ‘Falls’ In Polling Unit

The presidential candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) Donald Duke has lost in his polling unit in Saturday’s presidential election.

The former Cross Rivers governor scored only six votes while the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Atiku Abubakar won by 291 votes.

While the APC candidate, President Muhammadu Buhari got 98 votes.

There was wild jubilation when the results were announced at about 6 pm at the Ward 5, Unit 5 polling unit at Diamond Hill, Calabar.

The South-South National Vice Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Ntufam Hilliard Etta, also lost in that unit as PDP also won the Senatorial and House of Representatives elections.

PDP won the Senatorial election by 207 votes while APC got 193 votes.

PDP won the House of Representatives election by 215 votes while APC got 140 votes and SDP got six votes.
