The Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Nigeria’s main opposition party, Atiku Abubakar, has defeated President Muhammadu Buhari at one of the polling units inside Aso Rock, Nigeria’s presidential villa located in Abuja, the nation’s capital.
Naija News reports that President Buhari is seeking a second term in office on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Nigeria’s ruling party.
This online news platform understands Atiku’s PDP scored 84 votes, to defeat Buhari’s APC, who trailed with 73 votes.
