The Nigeria Police Force (NPF) has given the reason why Federal Special Anti-robbery Squad, F-SARS, was decentralised and place under commissioners of Police in various states.

The spokesperson of the force, Frank Mba, who was a guest on Channels Television’s Sunrise Daily, explained that FSARS was decentralised in a bid to correct the abnormality, restore order and bring the police closer to the people.

Mba added that the reformed the news Inspector General of Police, Adamu Mohammed, Intended to carry out won’t be cosmetics.
