Amaechi To Appear Before Rep Members Over Corruption Allegations

Minister of transport, Rotimi Amaechi is set to appear before the House of Representatives Committee on Land Transport over allegations of corruption.

Abdulmumin Jibrin, Chairman of the committee, speaking on Channels Television on Thursday in Abuja, said the minister is also expected to explain allegations of breach of process.

Jubril further stated that based on series of allegations received from credible sources by the committee against the minister, it has become expedient for investigations into issues raised.

He added that Nigerians deserve to know the truth about what is going on in governance as government should remain accountable to the people.
