Obasanjo Urges Federal Government To Curb Illegal Migration

Former President Olusegun Obasanjo has advised all stakeholders in the Nigerian project to work together on curbing illegal migration of youths which has been on the increase in recent time.

Obasanjo made this appeal during mentorship session of a programme organised by Youth Development Centre of the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library, held in Abeokuta.

The former President who led the interview session from victims of illegal migration said such movement brings nothing than pains, death and deformity, urging leaders to do the needful in protecting the future of the young ones.

Some of the victims also shared their experiences about the quest to migrate to Europe.
