Tanker Falls On Lagos-Abeokuta Expressway, Causes Gridlock

A tanker carrying Premium Motor Spirit fell today at Iyana Ilogbo axis along the Lagos-Abeokuta Expressway, causing a gridlock.

Blamed on the bad condition of the road, the tanker was said to be travelling from Abeokuta to Lagos when the incident happened.

Naija News understands that motorists travelling inward and outward Abeokuta were forced to divert to other inner routes inside Ilogbo, Onihale, and Ijoko among others.

Meanwhile, present at the sight of the incident are fire fighters, and operatives of the Federal Road Safety Corps, the police and the Ogun State Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Corp.
