Their Lives Were In Danger – Rev Dachomo Reveals Why US Army Left Nigeria

A cleric for the Church of Christ in Nations (COCIN) in Barkin Ladi LGA, Plateau State, Rev Ezekiel Dachomo, has claimed that Boko Haram and ISWAP have taken strategic positions in the Nigerian Army.

Naija News reports that the cleric stated this while reacting to the withdrawal of United States troops from Nigeria.

Recall that the United States recently announced the withdrawal of its military forces deployed for a joint counterterrorism operation in Nigeria.

Speaking to his congregation during a sermon, Rev Dachomo claimed that the American army lives were in danger, hence the reason for their departure.

The cleric said, “Let me tell you, do you know why America left? Listen, American soldiers’ lives were in danger because Boko Haram and ISWAP have taken strategic positions in the Nigeria Army and the security of the country.

“You have seen how many Army Generals are being killed by the insurgents through information of the fifth columnists. The American soldiers will not endanger their lives. They are afraid to work with our security. They are afraid because their lives were in danger.

“They will lose soldiers in Nigeria, as we are losing soldiers right now in Nigeria. That’s why they left.

“So, our life is in danger. Defend yourselves when the Boko Haram and ISWAP come to attack you. Let us prepare our ways with God.”
