NDC Deregistration: Some Bad Eggs Will Tarnish Your Image – Galadima Warns Judiciary

A chieftain of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), Buba Galadima, has condemned the recent court ruling of the Federal High Court in Lokoja, Kogi State, which attempted to deregister the party.

He urged the National Judicial Council (NJC) to do all it can to eliminate bad eggs amongst them.

Naija News reports that the NDC chieftain shared his grievances on Tuesday when he appeared as a guest in an interview on Arise Television’s ‘Morning Show’.

He said, “The judiciary needs to send the bad eggs among them to jail to serve as a deterrent to others.

“I think the judiciary needs to do a lot of soul searching, otherwise some bad eggs within the judiciary will tarnish the image of the judiciary.

“I think certain judges must not go unpunished, and we as a political party are taking this calmly, and we presume that we will prevail at the end of the day. I don’t think this judgment can stand any test of time.”

Meanwhile, Galadima has accused the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) of being allergic to democratic competition.

Naija News reports that Galadima made the allegation during an interview on Channels Television’s ‘Politics Today’ while speaking on the defection of former presidential candidates, Peter Obi and Rabi’u Kwankwaso, from the African Democratic Congress (ADC) to NDC

Galadima also accused the APC of destroying all opposition parties to ensure that President Bola Tinubu is the only candidate in 2027.

According to him, “The government of the day and the ruling party have gone to town to destroy all political parties. They destroyed the NNPP and LP, on which both Kwankwaso and Peter Obi ran in 2023.

“They (the APC) want to assure themselves that the only way they can win elections is to have a single candidate, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, in 2027. They are allergic to democratic competition.
