Nigerian businessman and socialite, Pascal Okechukwu, also known as Chief Priest, has opened up about his childhood ambition of becoming a Catholic priest.

Naija News reports that he disclosed this after sharing an old photograph from his days as a junior seminarian.

The entertainment personality posted the throwback picture on his Instagram page, using the moment to look back on his early life and the path he once hoped to follow before choosing a different career.

In his post, Cubana Chief Priest reflected on his late mother’s wish for him to serve in the Catholic Church as a priest.

He also spoke about the strong Christian upbringing that shaped his early years and the role his faith played while growing up.

Although life eventually took him in another direction, he admitted that becoming a Catholic priest was once his genuine desire.

The socialite also revealed that he now hopes to build a closer relationship with his Catholic faith despite living a busy public life as an entrepreneur and entertainer.

He wrote: “I once had a strong desire to serve as a Catholic priest when I was growing up. My mother always hoped I would take the path of priesthood, and I still remember that wish clearly.”
