He Has Four Different Names – Arabambi Accuses Obi Of Having Inconsistent Official Records
Labour Party factional National Vice Chairman (South-West), Abayomi Arabambi, has alleged that former Anambra State Governor Peter Obi, used different versions of his name in official documents, claiming the differences raise concerns about the consistency of his public records.
Naija News reports that Arabambi made the allegation during an interview on News Central TV while speaking about Obi’s political career and personal documentation.
He claimed that the former Labour Party presidential candidate appeared under different name arrangements in documents completed at different stages of his life.
According to Arabambi, some of the documents were personally filled out by Obi, while others were records linked to the University of Nigeria, Nsukka.
He alleged that the documents contained different versions of Obi’s name and argued that the matter should be addressed because people seeking public office are expected to have consistent official records.
The Labour Party chieftain claimed that Obi was identified by different combinations of his names in various documents, including forms allegedly completed by him and records connected to his university education.
He insisted that the alleged differences deserved public attention and should be explained.
“Obi has four different names to himself. That’s why you see him walking against the clock. In this form, by his own hand, he said he is Peter Obi. He called himself Obi Peter Gregory by himself and later he proceeded to say that he is Peter Gregory Onwubuasi Obi and that is in his University of Nsukka certificate”, he stated.
