Former NAHCON Boss Loses Wife, Tinubu Reacts

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has extended his condolences to a former Chairman of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON), Professor Abdullahi Saleh Pakistan, over the death of his wife, Hajiya Zainab Abdullahi Saleh Pakistan.

Naija News understands that Hajiya Zainab reportedly died on Friday evening after a prolonged illness.

The President’s condolence message was contained in a statement issued on Saturday by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga.

Tinubu described the deceased as a virtuous woman who was devoted to her family and community.

He said her passing would be felt by everyone who came in contact with her, noting that she served as a pillar of support to her family and contributed positively to her community.

The President sympathised with Professor Abdullahi Saleh Pakistan, who is also the Chairman of JIBWIS in Kano State, and other members of the family over the loss.

“I join the family in this moment of grief. I pray that Almighty Allah will grant Hajiya Zainab Aljannah Firdaus and give the family the fortitude to bear this painful loss,” Tinubu said.

The President prayed for the peaceful repose of the deceased’s soul and urged the family to take solace in her impactful life and the cherished memories she left behind.

He also conveyed his sympathy to friends, associates and members of the wider community mourning the late Hajiya Zainab, praying that Allah would comfort all those affected by her passing.
