‘Unalloyed Commitment, Leadership’ – APC Applauds Tinubu, Wike
The All Progressives Congress (APC) has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, over the commissioning of major judicial infrastructure projects in Abuja.
Naija News reports that the ruling party described the projects as a demonstration of the administration’s commitment to strengthening democratic institutions, promoting the rule of law and enhancing the welfare of judicial officers.
In a statement issued on Thursday by its National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, the APC congratulated the President and the FCT minister on the successful completion and commissioning of the new Court of Appeal Complex and residential accommodation for judicial officers.
According to the party, the projects include a newly completed Court of Appeal Complex equipped with modern facilities and a 20-unit residential quarters for Justices of the Court of Appeal and judges of the Federal High Court.
The APC also noted that another 20-unit residential quarters for judges of the Federal Capital Territory judiciary is scheduled for commissioning soon.
The party further welcomed the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of residential accommodation for judges of the National Industrial Court and members of the Code of Conduct Tribunal.
The project is expected to be completed by January 2027.
The APC said the projects reflected President Tinubu’s determination to strengthen Nigeria’s democratic institutions and improve the administration of justice.
“The delivery of these critical and massive judicial infrastructure projects reflects President Tinubu’s iron-clad commitment to strengthening democratic institutions, promoting the rule of law, upholding the independence of the judiciary, and guaranteeing the dignity and welfare of judicial officers,” the statement read.
The party described the development as a strategic investment in the justice sector and democratic governance.
According to the APC, improved court facilities and quality accommodation would enhance judicial efficiency and boost public confidence in the justice system.
The ruling party also praised Wike for what it described as his commitment and leadership in ensuring the timely delivery of the projects.
“We extend our profound commendation to Hon. Minister Wike for his unalloyed commitment, leadership, effective and timely execution of these projects in realisation of President Tinubu’s broader vision of institutional reform, infrastructure development and national progress,” the statement added.
The APC noted that the projects formed part of achievements recorded by the Tinubu administration as it marks its third anniversary in office.
It said the expansion of judicial infrastructure in the Federal Capital Territory underscored the administration’s commitment to effective justice delivery, respect for the rule of law and the promotion of a vibrant democratic culture.
The party maintained that strengthening the judiciary remains essential to Nigeria’s development, stability and long-term prosperity.
