I Hustled For 16 Years Until My Breakthrough – Spyro
Afrobeats singer Spyro has revealed the long and difficult path he walked before finding success in the music industry.
Naija News reports that he explained it took him sixteen years of hard work, facing failures and setbacks, before his career finally took off around three years ago.
During this period, Spyro said he faced some of the lowest points in his life, filled with uncertainty and disappointment.
Despite the challenges, he credited his faith for turning things around, saying that his life and career changed unexpectedly, bringing him from struggle to recognition.
In a post on Instagram, he wrote: “If someone had told me 3 years ago that I would become this fly, I would have argued it. I have been in the industry hustling for 16 years and I was at my lowest when JESUS changed it all… PLS DON’T GIVE UP.”
In other news, Nigerian singer Ahmed Ololade, popularly known as Asake, has revealed that his relationship with his father, Fatai Odunsi, grew cold after he decided to pursue a music career.
Naija News reports that Asake, in a recent interview with YouTuber, Korty EO, said his father strongly opposed his career choice.
The Sungba crooner further stated that he disobeyed his father by absconding from him to chase his dream.
