‘When You Turn Old Taker, You Start Looking For Naija Streamers’ – Peller Knocks Nigerian Musicians
Popular Nigerian Tiktoker cum streamer, Habeeb Hamzat Adelaja, known as Peller, has criticised Nigerian musicians over their relationship with streamers.
Naija News reports that Peller, during a recent livestream in Enugu, said many Nigerian musicians prefer granting interviews to foreign influencers and media personalities.
According to Peller, Nigerian musicians only turn to local streamers when their fame is beginning to dwindle.
Peller urged Nigerian entertainers, especially musicians, to embrace local media and influencers, irrespective of their newfound global stardom.
He said, “Nigerian musicians don’t rate local streamers. They will be streaming with Americans, but when they don turn old taker, na then dem go dey find Naija streamers up and down.
“I don catch their scope. Very few Nigerian usicians are kind. Davido, Olamide and Tiwa savage are among the few kind ones.”
Meanwhile, the Benin Traditional Council has taken disciplinary action against a palace chief, a queen, and other individuals after Peller entered the Oba of Benin’s palace without permission.
The council described the visit as a breach of palace protocol and a disruption of the palace’s order.
The council explained that Adelaja and his team accessed the palace without following the required procedures, causing embarrassment and unrest within the palace grounds.
A preliminary investigation led to the suspension of a palace chief involved, while a staff member named Mr. Omuemu has been arrested and charged with aiding the unauthorized entry.
The queen implicated is currently under review and may face removal.
