‘Worst’ – Comedian I Go Save Vents On Epileptic Power Supply In Nigeria

Nigerian comedian, Otaghware Otas Onodjayeke, known by his stage name I Go Save, has expressed frustration with the country’s electricity situation.

Naija News reports that I Go Save, in an Instagram post, said many places have been without light for weeks, months, or even years.

The comedian questioned how businesses that rely entirely on government electricity survive under these conditions.

He wrote, “Since birth as a Nigerian, these past few years are worst of power failure of all times… So many places have been without light for weeks, months or years as we speak right now. I wonder how industries and those whose business solely depends on the government light survive.”

He also pointed out the disparity between government facilities and ordinary citizens, “Aso Rock has installed solar/inverter; Ministry of Power uses generator; most government houses are powered by generators, and their family members or friends are the diesel suppliers or contractors.”

I Go Save also questioned a possible solution to the epileptic power supply, asking, “Are we ever going to have stable electricity?”

Meanwhile, I Go Save recently reacted to a viral video showing Nollywood actress, Tonto Dikeh, conducting a deliverance session for a school pupil during an outreach programme.

The controversy began after the actress shared videos from a weekly outreach where she visited a school and prayed for a young student.

During the session, the actress said she had once been delivered from spiritual bondage and now serves as a vessel used by God to help others find freedom.

The video quickly spread online and drew reactions from many social media users.
