2027: Nigerians Must Beg God To Divinely Remove Tinubu, APC – Fayose

Internet personality and businessman, Isaac Fayose, has expressed doubt that the change of government being canvassed by some Nigerians can be achieved through the ballot, saying only divine intervention can alter the current political trajectory.

Fayose made the remarks in a post shared on his official Facebook page on Sunday while reacting to the outcome of the recent Federal Capital Territory area council elections.

The council elections, conducted by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), saw the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) secure the majority of the chairmanship seats.

However, opposition figures alleged that the exercise was marred by vote buying, violence and voter intimidation.

Reacting to the development, Fayose criticised the electoral process and expressed pessimism about future elections.

“INEC is a cesspit of electoral irregularities and malfeasance. I laugh at any Nigerian who’s deluding themselves over yesterday’s local government election in Abuja,” he wrote.

The businessman further suggested that the outcome of the FCT election may mirror future national polls.

“As a matter of fact, there won’t be much difference between the outcome of the Abuja local government election held yesterday and the outcome of the next presidential election,” he stated.

He urged Nigerians dissatisfied with the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to seek spiritual intervention rather than rely solely on the electoral process.

“Any Nigerian who’s unhappy with the Bola Ahmed Tinubu-led APC government should use this Lent season to seek God’s intervention for Nigeria and beg God to divinely remove APC because, as it stands today, the votes of the Nigerian electorate are incapable of terminating or dislodging them from office in 2027,” Fayose wrote.

Despite his criticism, Fayose ended his message on a hopeful note, saying, “It’s well with Nigeria and Nigerians. Amen IJN.”
