Eniola Badmus Reacts As Funke Akindele Accuses Her Of Using Government Funds To Buy Jewellries, Bags
Nollywood actress, Eniola Badmus, has responded to claims made by fellow actress Funke Akindele, saying she uses government funds to buy jewellery and bags.
Naija News reports that Badmus is the Special Assistant on Social Events and Public Hearing to the Speaker of the House of Representatives of Nigeria, Tajudeen Abbas.
In a viral video, Funke Akindele jokingly told Eniola Badmus that she was using government funds to buy her jewellery and bags.
Reacting, Badmus made it clear that her wealth comes entirely from her personal earnings and not from any government source.
She added that everything she wears, from bags to jewellery, is locally made and bought with her own money.
Funke said, “You used all the government money to buy jewellery.”
Eniola replied: “Your money isn’t in my hands o please I don’t know what you’re talking about. All I’m wearing is locally made. I used my money to buy them.”
In other news, Nollywood actress Biodun Okeowo, popularly known as Omoborty, has spoken out against certain behaviours she finds troubling in the movie industry, especially among actors who fail to support film promotions after featuring in them.
Naija News reports that in a message shared on her Instagram page, Okeowo expressed anger at actors who appear in movies but refuse to support producers when it is time to promote the project.
She described such actions as wrong and unfair, saying it shows a lack of care for the effort and resources invested in making the film.
