APC Chieftain Shot Dead

Unknown gunmen have reportedly killed a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Hon. Ejeh Udeh, in Otukpo, Benue State.

Naija News learnt that the gunmen stormed Udeh’s residence in Ugboju area of Otupo around 12:00 a.m. on Monday and opened fire on him in front of his family.

According to Daily Post, eyewitnesses confirmed that the assailants, who arrived on a motorcycle, ambushed him.

The gunmen reportedly surrounded Udeh as soon as he entered his house and opened fire at him.

His body has since been deposited at the Otukpo General Hospital morgue.

Meanwhile, the lawmaker representing Oyo South Senatorial District on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Senator Sharafadeen Abiodun Alli, has alerted the public to a fraudulent Facebook account opened in his name to scam unsuspecting Nigerians.

In a statement issued by his media office on Sunday, the lawmaker described the act as criminal and warned his constituents not to engage with the impostor.

Alli stressed that he never conducts financial or business transactions on social media.

We strongly advise the public not to engage in any transaction or communication with anyone on social media platforms, particularly Facebook, Messenger, or any other similar channels, claiming to represent Senator Alli,” He said.
