Around 10:40 am on Monday, the Deputy National Chairman parked in the slot reserved for the National Chairman and led a team of seven other members of the NWC to a meeting in his office.

According to The Nation, Adamu was absent at the meeting while the National Secretary of the party, Senator Iyiola Omisore, arrived around 11:20 am at the secretariat and joined others in the meeting.
