Actress Obot Etuk Sends Strong Message To People Who Say ‘They Came From Nothing’

Veteran Nollywood actress cum pastor, Obot Etuk has warned people who claim to have come from nothing when giving a victory speech.

The actress via her Instagram page on Wednesday stressed that such people downplay their parent’s efforts whenever they make such an utterance recounting their journey.

According to her, most parents gave their children what they could afford, so they should be praised.

”In your victory speech ladies and gentlemen, never embarrass the effort of your parents by saying you came from nothing. Whatever you had then was what they could afford. And they gave it to you with love. Make them feel better by praising them. Remember, we reap what we sow,” she wrote on Instagram

Bob Marley’s Grandson Joseph Marsa Dies At 31

Meanwhile, Joseph Marley also known as Jo Mersa, the grandson of reggae legend, Bob Marley, has died at the age of 31.

Naija News reports that Joseph died on Tuesday, December 27, 2022, and was found unresponsive in a vehicle at an undisclosed location in the United States.

According to the Florida radio station WZPP, the musician suffered from asthma his entire life, and he died of an asthma attack.

A Jamaican politician, the opposition Leader, and president of the People’s National Party, Mark J. Golding also took to Twitter to mourn Marley’s death.

He wrote: “I’ve just learned of the tragic loss of Joseph “Jo Mersa” Marley. A talented young reggae artiste, son of Stephen Marley & grandson of Bob Marley at only 31 yrs old.

“The loss of a child is a devastating blow no parent should face, my condolences to Stephen & the entire family.”

Joseph’s grandfather Bob died of cancer in 1981 at the age of 36. He was survived by 11 children.
