Tinubu, Sanwo-Olu, Ganduje, Others Arrive Ibadan, Meet Oyo Delegates

The National Leader of the All Progressives Congress and presidential aspirant, Bola Tinubu, the Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu and his counterparts from Kano State, Abdullahi Ganduje have arrived in Ibadan, Oyo State capital.

Tinubu’s visit to the South-West state is part of his electioneering campaign ahead of the 2023 presidential election.

The former Governor of Lagos is in the state to woo APC delegates ahead of the presidential primary of the party fixed for 6th June, 2022.

Tinubu had the company of former governor of Borno State, Senator Kasim Setthima, Senator Tokunbo Abiru, Bosun Oladele, Rotimi Makinde, Senator Rilwan Soji Akanbi, Senator Dayo Adeyeye, Bosun Oladele and Wasiu Eshinlokun.

The APC members on group at the meeting include, APC gubernatorial candidates, Senator Teslim Folarin, Akeem Adeyemi, Akin Alabi, former Minister of Communications, Adebayo Shittu, Dokun Odebunmi, Senator Fatai Buhari, Idris Adeoye and APC Chairman in the state, Isacc Omodewu.

Others are Dapo Adesina, Sunday Adepoju, and Ibrahim Olaifa.

Tinubu would be hoping to clinch the ticket of the ruling party ahead of the Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo, former Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, Senate President, Ahmed Lawan and other presidential aspirants in the party.
