Davido Reacts After Banky W Allegedly Loses Primaries Days After PDP Declared Him Winner

Popular Nigerian singer Davido has reacted after his colleague Banky W allegedly lost the primaries days after PDP declared him the winner of the Eti-Osa House of Representatives.

Banky W on Tuesday had disclosed that he won the Peoples Democratic Party’s ticket to represent the Eti-Osa constituency in the House of Representatives.

However, on Thursday a result was spotted online showing that Banky W was defeated in the primary.

Reacting to a video of the votes being counted Davido wrote ‘I trust my fans’

Kennedy Salami, an aide of popular Nigerian singer has however explained during an interview with Daily Trust that the issue is being sorted.

Salami said, “Please this result is false. We have spoken to almost all the leaders in the PDP. They are all working on it and have asked Banky to remain calm and allow them to sort it out. It appears that Sam allegedly was able to manoeuvre to get a result sheet in his favour, for an election that BANKY WELLINGTON WON.”
