#GHANIG: Super Eagles Name Strong Starting Line Up To Face Ghana

The Super Eagles of Nigeria have departed the Federal Capital Territory for Ghana ahead of their World Cup qualifier clash against Black Stars.

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) on Thursday confirmed that the Super Eagles would land in Kumasi, the venue of the match.

According to NFF, the men’s football team would return with the same chartered flight immediately after their match.

The Secretary-General of the NFF, Mohammed Sanusi, promised that the Super Eagles of Nigeria would do all its best to qualify for the World Cup.

The first leg of the match would be played in Kumasi, Ghana on Friday, while the return leg would be played in Abuja on Tuesday.

Sanusi said, “I want to assure that the NFF is putting all arrangements in place to motivate and incentivize the players and officials for the two big matches.

“We have concluded most of the arrangements and expect no glitch anywhere. We are also ready to deal with eventualities as they arise because these are matches that we must win.”

NFF confirmed that Super Eagles players and its officials will be staying at the Golden Tulip hotel facility in Kumasi, for the match.

The match will be played at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi.
