After Threat To Kidnap Buhari, Terrorists Attack Presidential Guards, Injure Three

Bandit terrorists on Tuesday evening attacked a security checkpoint in Katsina State.

There are speculations that operatives of the Nigeria Police Force might have been killed during the attack.

A further report revealed that the incident happened along Sheme- Kankara road in the Kankara Local Government Area of the state around 11 pm.

The incident led to the death of some residents as policemen engaged the terrorists numbering over 300 in a gun battle.

The terrorist also kidnapped a yet-to-be ascertained number of people during the attack.

Terrorists and kidnappers keep attacking the community despite it being in President Muhammadu Buhari’s home state, Katsina.

Gunmen in the last five months have killed around 700 people in an attack on Jibia, Kankara, Dutsinma, Musawa, Danmusa, and Safana local government areas.

The security issue in the North has been a major point of concern which has seen innocent Nigerians killed, some abducted, while properties worth millions have been destroyed in the process.
