Former Super Eagles Star Is Dead

Former Super Eagles Star, Justice Christopher has died.

Veteran journalist, Andrew Randa, took to social media to announce his passing.

Christopher reportedly died in the wee hours of Wednesday morning at his hotel in Jos.

No details has been given for the cause of death of the 40-year-old.

Christopher made his debut for the Super Eagles in 2001 and went on to accumulate 11 appearances.

He was part of the Nigerian squad that went to the 2002 World Cup in Korea/Japan.

The decease began his career in 1999 at Katsina United.

He also played for Levski Sofia in Bulgaria, Swedish club Trelleborgs FF, Alania Vladikavkaz in Russia and Herfølge BK in Denmark before announcing his retirement from football at the end of the 2006/2007 season.

However he returned to Nassarawa United in October 2012 and signed with the club.

He was with the Nigerian Professional Football League (NPFL) until his death.
