Bandit Terrorists Kidnap Bride-to-be, Five Others In Kaduna
One Khadija, a bride-to-be, has been kidnapped by some gunmen suspected to be bandit terrorists.
The lady according to reports was whisked away on Wednesday night when the assailants invaded the Rigachikun community in the Igabi Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
Naija News learnt that Khadija was kidnapped alongside five other residents.
A woman whose grandchildren were among those abducted told newsmen that the victims were sleeping by her side when the bandits broke into their room.
Further information about the attack revealed that the gunmen arrived at the community close to Kasan Dam around 1 am yesterday and ransacked three houses, whisking the victims off to an unknown destination.
“We were sleeping when they came into the room and asked Khadija and one Shabilu to come with them. They also took away a phone and a piece of bread from the table. We are confused,” the source told Daily Trust.
Lamenting the disturbing event, a community leader, Idris Abdulrasheed, told reporters that the incident was the first in the community and that they had already informed the police about it.
One Comr Jameel Abdulkarim has identified one of the kidnapped victims as Muktar Abdulsalam, Naija News reports.
Abdulkarim noted that Abdulsalam is the Personal Assistant to the SUBEB chairman in Kaduna.
However, the bandits have not made a contact yet to state their demand for the release of the victims.
